Workshops
These can be individually tailored to your requirements. The basic framework begins with an introduction on safety and posture, we continue into a warm up, after which individual moves are taught then put together into combinations, which build into a final dance.
Props can be used such as Saiidi sticks, veils and finger cymbals all of which will be provided for you to borrow on the day, including hip scarves.
Finally there's a cool down and then you get to go home and show your friends and family what you've learned!
The talk starts with a demonstration of Egyptian Shaabi
dance and continues with funny anecdotes about how I got into
Belly Dancing, fire eating and training/working with a snake!!
Finally I relate all the hilarious and sometimes scary incidents and accidents I’ve had over the years.
booking for 2024/25
