Belly dance with Roxanne

    Classes and workshops.

Regular classes (Desford Leicestershire) are a mix  of different styles of Belly Dance, including,  Baladi, Raqs Sharqi,  Veil dance , Stick Dance (Saiidi) modern Cairo street dance (Shaabi) Flamenco and Salsa fusion.
The emphasis is on getting you dancing and having fun!

    Workshops

These can be individually tailored to your requirements. The basic framework begins with an introduction on safety and posture, we continue into a warm up, after which individual moves are taught then put together into combinations, which build  into a final dance.

Props can be used such as Saiidi sticks, veils and finger cymbals all of which will be provided for you to borrow on the day, including hip scarves.

Finally there's a cool down and then you get to go home and show your friends and family what you've learned!
